Pre-Shipping Warning for Prince's Gambit

Hello Prince's Gambit Backers!

We have received confirmation that the card decks are with our fulfillment shipper!

Their long multi-continent travel has ended, and now the shipper is checking on packaging and all that good stuff they do in order to get you your rewards in good shape.

So this is another warning about checking your addresses and pledges on your BackerKit pages. Your addresses, because within a week I'll be locking down the addresses on the site and sending them over to our shipper. That might be as soon as the end of this week, or early next week, depending on how soon they can ship.

You'll get a 48 hour warning too, once I know when shipping should start.

Also, check your rewards and be sure that you pledged at the level to get what you want. This was not a terribly complex campaign, but we really need to be sure about this because as we ship your reward and address info is what will be used as your official info. If we send you the reward listed in BackerKit, to the address for you in BackerKit, then we have fulfilled our part of this KS, as we had no other info.

So, 48 hour warning coming soon!

Right now, we are on the cusp. I have notices from the shipping agents that are supposed to get the PG decks to our fulfillment shipper that they are either on the road on ready to deliver them. Our shipper will notify me when the decks are in their warehouse.

So this is not the official notice to double-check and fix your shipping address, but it might make sense if you do it now on the basis that we expect to start shipping in May. You will get an official notice when we are ready to lock down address changes and get the shipping info over to the shipper. (Next week if the decks come in this week).

To change your shipping address, go to your BackerKit page and you can amend the address you gave us in the Survey.

We're in the final 24 Hour countdown for our latest Kickstarter, Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought for Exalted 3rd Edition.

This campaign will be funding the creation of a deluxe, hardcover version of this book, and has already achieved 500% of the initial funding target! As of this morning, we've hit a whopping 30 Stretch Goals and assembled an incredible Dragon-Blooded Companion supplement as well.

We've added additional special reward tiers like for Custom Charms, and cloth maps of the Blessed Island and a reprint of the canvas map of Creation from the original EX3 Kickstarter.

Here's a very unexciting Update. The cards sets are shipping on the proverbial "slow boat from China" and it'll take a while before they get here. But, they ARE on their way!

When we know that the decks are in the US, we'll start preparing the shipping lists, and send backers notice via BackerKit that we need to finalize addresses.

Meanwhile in a very different game world:

Yesterday we started our latest Kickstarter campaign, for the Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought source book, or "fatsplat" book, for the Exalted 3rd Edition game line.

Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought introduces the Dragon-Blooded in 3rd Edition and all the rules necessary to feature them as player characters or NPC antagonists, including character creation rules and the element-based Dragon-Blooded Charm set of powers. This book will give an iconic view of the Dragon-Blooded, from their mythic origins as the armies of the gods to their place in the current era.

Because we made sure that the complete text for this book was finished before we ran Dragon-Blooded's KS, we can provide one quarter (more or less) of the book's text to backers each week of the campaign and get their feedback along the way. (Plus, if a backer doesn't like the text, they can cancel their pledge before the KS is over). This is the first big book for our new dev team, and judging by what we're hearing, it seems they've knocked the (fire)ball out of the park with this one!

Things are looking good with the printing of Prince's Gambit, and we expect to see an example copy soon. Then they need to all get boxed up and sent to us here in the USA.

Meanwhile, the order for the wooden card boxes has been placed and soon there will be wood shavings and stain splatters all over their workshop at Dog Might.

Last reminder: Only 24 hours left for the Trinity Continuum Kickstarter!

Our latest Kickstarter campaign for the reboot of the Trinity Continuum featuring the Core Rulebook (and modern era setting) and the Trinity Continuum: Aeon setting book is down to its last 24 hours (less actually as I write this)!

We're at well over 300% funded, and have blown through 23 Stretch Goals that add all sorts of extra material for everyone's enjoyment (although not to the books as their texts are pretty much finished, and we want to roll on them quickly).

We've reviewed the card and rules and box proofs from our printer, and things look really great. (Sorry, I didn't get pics of the proofs before we sent them back.) They are now prepping to print, but since they are in China and are having their New Year break, it's a bit more disjointed than just running the presses, but things are definitely happening!

Also, just like last month, I wanted to point out that if you need information more frequently than these monthly Updates, we have several ways to get that to you. The first is to review my weekly Monday Meeting Notes blog, which you can find on our website, here: http://theonyxpath.com/category/news/monday-meeting/

Down near the end we have a weekly progress report on all of our ongoing projects, starting with the Initial Draft stage of when writers have started writing, all the way to the At Press stage of when projects are getting completed and towards being made available. You can also get the weekly blog emailed to you, so you don't have to hunt for it, by joining our Onyx Path Mailing List on the right side of our website.

You can ask questions in the comments for the Monday Meeting Notes blog which I pop in to answer during the course of the week, and also ask questions on our Twitter and Facebook accounts, and on our Onyx Path forums where we have sections dedicated to our game lines.

And, as this comes up a lot: if you need to change your address after the Backer Surveys have gone out and been returned, you can access your Survey response using the same url as for the Survey and make the changes needed right there. Easy peasy!
